This song took me around a year to write and get ready to perform. In 2016 I competed in my first ever guitar competition, the Canadian Fingerstyle Guitar competition against competitors from around the world and placed 4th. On the bus ride home I was inspired and started write this piece in my head. In 2017, I went back to that same competition and performed it, which lead me to 3rd place. The name comes from a friend of mine, Danny B, who is an amazing saxophonist I have had the opportunity to play lots with. We used to jam on a song I played by Tommy Emmanuel, called Old Town. Danny never got the song title right and called it Castle Town.
